All dog owners sometimes have some problems with their relationship with the dog because of some common behavioral problems in dogs. Over a couple of years, it is noticed that behavioral problems in dogs are the most common problem in the US. These problems in dogs can be very really frustrating if you have experienced any of them before.
Barking is the nature of a dog. If a dog doesn’t bark then it’s unusual & the dog might be dealing with serious problem deep inside, also if the dog barks all the time then it becomes another problem. The first & most common dog behavior problem is excessive barking. There are a lot of reasons behind excessive barking in dogs, if your dog becomes too excited, anxious, bored or insecure then he is most likely to bark all the time. Also, many dogs bark to have the attention of their owner.
Now whatever the reason is you should find possible causes behind it, also the best idea, in this case, is to take the dog to the vet.
Every dog will keep digging no matter what. If your dog does it, you know how bad it feels like. If you see that your dog is digging all the time, then it’s a good idea to distract him with his favorite toy. Because if the dog finds something he loves then he may ignore digging. However, this practice may not work for stubborn dogs. In that case, the best way to stop it is by giving a sandbox to the dog. Keep the sandbox out of your house with his favorite toy & you will surely see the results.
If your dog chews then believe that it’s completely normal. Sometimes many dogs are seen in creating chaos by chewing your shoes or favorite stuff, & that’s when the trouble begins. Dogs chew excessively if they have problems like anxiousness, puppy teething, too much curiosity or too bored.
To overcome this problem it’s a good idea to give the dog a lot of chew toys. When dogs find something good to chew they ignore other things. Also, you need to keep your favorite things away from the dog no matter what. If you are always busy then you should get your dog in a crate.
Not following your orders
When the dog follows your command you should always reward him with a food because the dog learns that following the command is something good that you like, and dogs can do anything to keep their owner happy. Whenever you command the dog to come, & if he doesn’t respond then you should use treats when you command. You should keep repeating these step for several times, & the dog will understand the fact.
A common behavior problem that we all dog owner don’t like is the inappropriate urination or elimination. Inappropriate urination means dogs urinate outside the litter box. This problem can cause bad smell & they can make any area dirty in your house. This problem can also make the dog to pee anywhere outside so you should take the dog to vet as soon as possible. Your vet may initially take some tests to check if there are any health or wellness issues. However, if the vet doesn’t find out any medical problem then, he may look out for any anxiousness, submissive/excitement urination or territorial marking.
However, if you have a puppy of twelve weeks of age, then keep in mind that this problem is completely normal for puppies. If dogs have inappropriate urination then that’s the problem
Separation anxiety is very serious & common behavior problem seen in dogs. Whenever you leave home to leave his favorite toys or something to do that he likes. If the dog is very stubborn then it’s a good idea to keep him in the crate. If none of these methods work then you should take the dog to the behaviorist experts.
