Easy dog tricks
This command teaches a dog to wave his/her paw when they hear a “hello.”
When a dog learns this trick he will wave a hello which is really amazing to see when you leave the home. To teach this trick, you need to start by training your dog to shake the paws or lift his paw to wave while saying “hello”. When you keep doing this for several times, the dog will get to know that he has to wave the paw after listening “hello” & also will response whenever he hears the command. When the dog finally responds to the command every time, reward him with his favorite treat. It’s that simple.
A dog learns to respond or bark when he/she hears the name when the dog learns this command.
First of all, you have to call your dog’s name & when the dog stares at you, you should give him/her the favorite treat. You need to keep doing this for 8 to 9 time when the dog finally responds to the name give him lots of love & treats. This way whenever you call your dog by the name he/she will always bark or stare at you. Over the time your dog will also understand that it is his name.
Giving a kiss
A dog will kiss his owner or someone else when he responses to this command.
However, there are many people who don’t like big wet kisses from their dog, but kids love to have kisses from the dog. First of all, you should make some noise of kissing, if your dog reacts to the sound then give him treats & encourage the dog to give a kiss. If the dog kisses you, give him more treats & keep repeating the process for 5-6 times. The dog will finally respond to this command by giving a kiss.
There is another way to teach this trick. First, you have to take some treats on your cheek. Then allow the dog to get the treat and after having the treat, the dog will lick your cheek, that’s the time when you should say “kiss.” You may have to repeat this whole process for a few times from the beginning until the dog finally kisses you without listening to the command.
A dog will sit beautifully whenever he listens to this command.
Take your dog’s attention by having his most favorite treat. Then you have to take the treat above the dog’s nose & then move the treat on the ear, in this step your dog will sit down when the treat goes to another point & then you should say “sit.” Then finally, you can give him the treat & love.
Keep repeating the process for 4-5 times.
Your dog will shake his paw when someone gives his hand toward the dog.
To teach this, first of all, you need your dog to sit down then move your hand in front of him. The dog will place his paw on your hand then move his paw slowly & gently by saying “shake.” This is how your dog will learn this command. But keep in mind that, you may need to repeat the process for a few times. Also, don’t forget to praise him with treats.
Cool Dog Tricks (Advanced Dog Tricks)
Taking a bow
A dog normally places his chest to the ground & keep the rear end up when he response to this command. This is often called a “bow” position in which a dog shows a “Yoga pose”.
This trick is really surprising & if a dog shows this then it will just surprise everyone. To teach this amazing trick, first, take some treats in your hand. From then, push the dog & show the treat by keeping your hand near to the floor. The dog will then follow the treat by keeping the chest with the floor and the rear end up in the air, but you should not allow the dog to get that treat instead say “bow” & then give the treat. Keep repeating the process for a few times, & your dog will show the “bow” pose whenever you say it.
Circle or Spin
Your dog will spin which is great to watch.
To teach this, first of all, you need your dog to stand up. Have a treat in your hand & hold it on the dog’s nose. From then you need to move your hand on the side of the dog’s head, & pull your hand in a circle, then your dog will begin moving his body in a circle to get that treat. Keep doing this for 4-5 times & after that, reward the dog with a treat. This is a very easy way to teach the “spin” command.
By this command, a dog will roll over his body.
First, you need your dog to lay down. Then take some treats in your hand & make him to move over to one hip on his side by showing the treat. Show the treat & move your hand to another side. Keep doing this for 8-9 times when saying “Roll over” & finally reward him with the treats.
This a very rare but amazing trick by which a dog will crawl like the army.
First of all, you need to make your dog to lie down. Then have some treats in your hand then show him the treat but do not allow your dog to get it. From then take your hand in front of the dog’s nose, your dog will have full attention on it, then you have to slowly drag it along the floor. Your dog will start to crawl & you should keep doing this for 5-10 minutes after that praise him with the treat. Sometimes, the dog may stand up to get that treat but you have to show another treat & start doing the whole process from the beginning. When your dog becomes used to it you should give the command without showing any treat.
You need to have a position so that your dog can sit on both sides of you. Have some treats on your hand, & show it to your dog, the dog will follow it but don’t allow him to get it. Move your hand to the back when he goes all the way on the other side give him the treat. Now begin the first step from your front side & grab the attention of your dog with a treat & keep him weaving between your legs for 8-9 minutes. Finally when you are done give him more treats & love.
Keep in mind that, your dog won’t respond to this command instantly. The dog will take some, so don’t get frustrated if your dog fails at the beginning. You should have enough patience & treats for the dog.
